Horsemanship Lessons
Our philosophy drives us to offer both on-horse and off-horse instruction. Being a horseman isn't just about time in the saddle! Students also learn about horse care, nutrition, stable management, and basic first aid. Horses range from beginner safe through more challenging for the advanced riders.
Certified Instruction
Megan is a certified instructor through both CHA and PATH. What does this mean for you? You / your child will participate in safe, fun, and effective lessons with a teacher who regularly continues her own education. Lessons are focused on developing strong fundamentals and skills.
Price List
$60 per lesson, approximately one hour (ages 6+, or 5 if prior experience)
Tiny Tots $40 per lesson, approx. 30min (age 5)
For new students, class time includes both on and off horse education. As riders progress, students may be encouraged to arrive early to begin some of the off horse care on their own.
Policies
Lessons are booked on a monthly basis, with full payment due at the start of each monthly session. You may pay online, or with cash / check at your first lesson. Reschedules and refunds are offered provided the farm is given twelve hours notice. Weather cancellations will be credited towards the next month's session.
